It has been a long time coming, but I am so excited that we can finally see the teeny-tiny light at the end of the tunnel! Our Waco Summer Shack is almost done!
This was meant to be a quick renovation that I planned to share but after months of delays I felt it needed to wait until there was some real progress. The project started towards the end of summer last year and now we are almost there!
Our Waco Summer Shack was built around the 1940’s and included just over 600 square feet. The plan was to add on and update the original home; however once we got started we realized we needed to just start over with this cute fixer upper. The design for this house was a little complicated but we were able to expand the house to about 1100 square feet.
Over the next few weeks, I plan to start sharing the details, design and plans for the home. This has been such a labor of love and I want to share the tiny oasis we are creating in the heart of Waco. I can’t wait to see how it finally turns out and share it with you!
