At what point are you too old to receive an Easter basket? Being stuck at home this year I have had way more time to focus on Easter, and I can definitely say I miss the excitement of an Easter Basket and hunting for Easter eggs. While I don’t have any kids right now, I have been window shopping online and there are a few new things I would love to get for our home to use this summer.
Below are my ten summer themed Easter Gifts for her or make the perfect gift basket to yourself! 🙂
My Favorite Ideas
1. New bath towels are always a luxury! There is just something about that new towel feeling when you get out of the shower or bath that just gives you an instant touch of ahh. I am loving these Linum Towels – Dusty Blue Assos Bath Towels from Nordstrom Rack that are currently over 70% off!
2. Like most people during this quarantine, we have been cooking almost every meal which has made it clear that we are in desperate need for some new tools. I love this Ayesha Curry 6 piece set that comes with multiple paddles, spoons a spatula and spoonula. I didn’t even know I needed a spoonula! Plus it is at a great price for the set at under $31!
3. The weather has slowly started getting nice here in Dallas which makes me want to live outside! A large part of the reason we chose the house we are in now is because of the backyard and I can’t wait to have picnics. This fun Rainbow picnic cloth from Anthropologie has and bright colors for summer and is currently part of their Fresh-Air Favorites sale at $53!
4. We are all part of a crazy and unknown situation right now. Being forced to stay at home over the last couple of weeks has really emphasized the importance of being present and wanting to take it all in. Keeping notes or journaling feelings right now is a great way to express gratitude or anxiousness. This super cute notepad from Amazon is under $7 and is a completely blank slate so even if you don’t continue journaling once life goes back to some normalcy, you’ll still have a great notebook for grocery or to do lists!
5. Growing up our neighbors used to ALWAYS make Sun Tea. They would put their jar out every day and now that I’m an adult, I can appreciate the simplicity and convenience of having fresh tea on hand. I love this Glass Pitcher from Sur la Table that is on sale for $20 and would be perfect for sun tea this summer.
6. Anthropologie also has these Scalloped Eco Plates as part of their sale which are perfect for outdoors and Eco-friendly! Made of bamboo pulp, wood fiber, sugar cane, and soy ink you can pick from four colors for a set of 8 under $10!! What a steal!
7. Now that we have a real yard and a pool, I am somewhat paranoid about broken glass outside. I would hate for our dogs or our guests to step on broken glass in the grass or be cut in the swimming pool and these Lola Paisley Acrylic drinking glasses would be perfect to use outside. I love the design and the color!
8. There is nothing better than having a candle lit all day and if I could afford it I would light one in every room to make the entire house smell wonderful! I first found these Sand + Fog candles at Home Goods and absolutely love the “Sun Washed Citrus” scent. I swear it smells like walking into the Anthropologie store!
9. These Glass Candle holders are so cute and will sell out quickly! I can see using them on a fireplace mantle for décor, a dining table as a centerpiece or for cute little desserts at each place setting! There are endless possibilities and the clean lines and clear glass make them functional for everyday use. They come in two sizes and are both under $20! If I could, I would be like 10 of these to use throughout the house, entertaining and during the holidays!
10. Even though we can’t have friends over right now, I am so excited for the day when we can have our neighbors, colleagues, and family back over for dinner. We have a large round dining table and this at Home Marble Lazy Susan from Nordstrom will be perfect for serving dinner and making it easy to pass food around the table. It’s also currently part of Nordstrom’s sale and at 40% off makes it under $60!
Now, if I only I could afford to buy all of these right now, I would be ready for summer! Do you still get small Easter Baskets as an adult? I’d love to know below!
